The Hard Way

The Hard Way

If Anorexia is the subtlest kind of eating disorder because you can develop this without you even noticing it, Bulimia is its opposite. In short, Bulimia is the most evident eating disorder. Most people who choose to develop this eating disorder are mostly the ones who basically love to eat but hate to get fat. Seems ironic, right? The thing is, there are people who cannot control their desire for food that the only solution that they can think of is by eating the food that they love and then just throwing them away by vomiting. In fact, they truly love food that they would rather experience pain whenever they throw up, rather than just minimizing their intake.

Some articles for eating disorder symptoms mentioned that bulimic people often experience different kinds of stomach problems because of the abnormalities that you are provoking inside of it. Another part of your body that is greatly affected by Bulimia is the throat. A person usually experiences a sore throat because of the damage that the food has caused its linings, not to mention all the acids that went through with the food that was already inside your stomach. The other parts of the body that will be affected due to the induced vomiting are the eyes and the cheeks. Even the teeth will also be affected and will accumulate cavities because of forced vomiting.

People who are practicing this may not see the long-term effects of Bulimia but for sure, sooner or later they will experience the damages that they have caused their bodies.
